Welcome to Dart World Australia's full range of dart shafts (also called stems). It's an easy piece of kit to overlook, but the material and length of your shaft change the balance, angle of attack and finish of every dart you throw. Switch to the right shaft and you'll feel the difference in your grouping straight away.

We stock every shaft material so you can find what suits your throw and your budget. Nylon shafts are lightweight, flexible and brilliant value — great for casual players and easy to replace. Aluminium shafts are the classic tournament choice, offering solid stability and a slightly heavier feel at the rear of the dart. Carbon-fibre shafts combine the lightness of nylon with real rigidity, holding their shape where nylon eventually fatigues. And titanium shafts are the premium, near-indestructible option for players who don't want to think about shafts for a season or more.

Length changes everything

Every length is covered — from Tom Thumb and extra short through short, medium and XL. Shorter shafts pull the flight in towards the barrel, reducing drag and letting darts stack closer together. Longer shafts move the flight back, increasing stability and correcting a dart that wobbles on release.

You'll find standard 2BA threads, two-piece systems with replaceable tops like Target Pro Grip Evo, and integrated flight-and-shaft designs including Target K-Flex and Winmau Fusion — from Target, Harrows, Winmau, Red Dragon, Unicorn, Loxley and Formula, in every colour from matte black through neons and patterned designs.
