Protect your wall, quieten your setup

A dartboard surround is the ring of dense foam that sits around your board and absorbs everything that misses it. If you're mounting a board on a plaster wall, it isn't optional — it's the difference between a tidy setup and a wall full of holes by Christmas.

There's a second benefit people notice only after fitting one: surrounds dampen the noise of a bounce-out hitting the floor, which matters a great deal if you practise at night in a shared house.

Choosing one

Most surrounds fit standard 18-inch bristle boards. One-piece rings are simplest to fit; four-piece designs are easier to post and let you replace a single damaged section. Team and player-branded versions are available if you'd rather your setup said something.
