95% Tungsten Darts

At 95% tungsten you're into the densest barrels commonly made, and density buys you one thing above all: slimness. A 95% barrel at a given weight is noticeably narrower than a 90% barrel of the same weight, which means three darts take up less room in the board.

For a player who already groups tightly, that difference is the whole argument. If your third dart keeps hitting the second one, a slimmer barrel is a more effective fix than more practice.

Is it worth the extra over 90%?

Honestly — only if you're grouping tightly enough to need the space. A newer player will see no benefit from 95% over 90% tungsten, and the money is better spent on a decent board or a coaching session. We'd rather tell you that than sell you the dearer set.
